Digital Make-up in Blender – FaceTracker Tutorial

0

In this tutorial you’ll learn how to add a tattoo, Joker make-up or other colored image to an actor's face in the video with the KeenTools add-on without quitting Blender.

We’ll uncover each step from creating a custom 3D head with the built-in FaceBuilder module, using it for facial motion capture as well as head tracking, to applying digital make-up and comping it to the background video.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
